KANBAN: THE ALTERNATIVE PATH TO CORPORATE AGILITY

Kanban is a method for organizing and managing professional services. It uses concepts from the Toyota Production System (TPS) and Lean Manufacturing, for example, the decision to limit work in progress to improve results. The "Pull Kanban System" is therefore a way to maintain focus and reduce the distribution of tasks to speed up delivery while maintaining an appropriate level of quality.

For knowledge work performed by experts in a complex field, it is necessary to visualize the workflow using a Kanban board. The visualization allows to clarify the work in progress, the priority levels, the dependencies, the business and delivery risks, the rules that have become clear and the commitment points. The Kanban method facilitates management and enables real support in value creation!
