Purpose of the training
Learn to take a proactive, rational and clearly communicated approach to continuous improvement. Learn proven tools and methods to increase capacity, avoid delays, reduce variability, and manage bottlenecks.
Overview
Kanban is a method for organizing and managing professional services. It uses Lean concepts such as limiting work in progress to improve results. A Kanban system is therefore a means of limiting work in progress and signaling the ability to initiate new tasks. We refer to this as a "pull system."
For intangible products (invisible work of experts) it is necessary to visualize the Kanban system with the help of a Kanban board. The board can represent the work, its flow, the Kanban system and various business and delivery risks. Kanban facilitates the complex work flow and enables real workload control.
